A qualified interpreter
English<>Spanish consecutive interpreting for the NIPAM meeting on lessons from Venezuela for the oil industry in Namibia.
I'm Timothy Barton, a qualified Namibia-based interpreter working with English, French, Spanish and Catalan. My services will ensure that your multilingual meetings and events run smoothly.
Recent meetings at which I interpreted include the 46th meeting of the Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-Banking Financial Authorities Secretariat, where I interpreted between French and English and supplied Portuguese interpreters, and the meeting held by the Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management on “Navigating oil discovery: lessons from Venezuela for sustainable development in Namibia”.
Although I work only with the languages mentioned above, I can also provide interpreters for other languages for your meetings. For most international meetings in Southern Africa, I work alongside Portuguese interpreters to ensure that all three major national languages in SADC countries are covered. I have provided Portuguese interpreters for meetings of the Elimination 8 Secretariat, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI).
I also work with suppliers of interpreting equipment, so if you'd like an all-inclusive quotation that includes equipment, just let me know.
I am a certified Spanish<->English translator and interpreter registered with the High Court of Namibia. If you require a Spanish interpreter for court proceedings, whether in the High Court or in a district court, for police interviews, or for similar purposes, please get in touch.
Also contact me for other languages, as I may be able to provide a qualified interpreter.
