OECD macroeconomic reports
In 2008, I joined the team that translates macroeconomic reports for African Economic Outlook, an annual publication by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and have participated every year since then.
I have also translated three editions of Latin American Economic Outlook, each of which was around 80,000 words long, and received this excellent feedback from my client.
Many thanks for these comments and all your work on Latin American Economic Outlook. Based on my own revision of some of the text as well as feedback from my colleagues, we are very happy with your work. You have picked up on many details that had escaped our attention. I really wanted to share this feedback with you and thank you for an excellent job. I hope that we will have a chance to work together again.Development Centre, OECD
In 2014 I began providing translations for another international financial institution, the Inter-American Investment Corporation. Based in Washington DC, the IIC is a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) group.
In every project assigned to him, Timothy showed extensive technical knowledge, great professionalism, dedication and the flexibility to adapt to changing deadlines and document versions. His eye for detail was reflected in the pertinent comments and questions he sent us before submitting the translation."Guillermina Schinder, Inter-American Investment Corporation
Expertise in macroeconomics
The documents I translate and edit for these institutions contain highly technical language in macroeconomics and finance. By plying my expertise and my keen eye for detail, I produce documents that adhere to the prestigious institutions’ strict editorial standards.
Other economics translations
I have also translated an economics book, The Great Recession: A Subversive View, written by the university professor, economist and former government minister and MP Dr. Carles Manera Erbina and published by Sussex Academic Press.
